The Paya system is the gravitationally-bound system comprising the two stars and the objects that orbit them, either directly or indirectly. Of those objects that orbit the stars directly, the largest three are the planets with the remainder being significantly smaller objects, such as dwarf planets and smaller bodies.

The Paya system formed 4.6 billion years ago from the gravitational collapse of two giant interstellar molecular cloud.

It is a ‘F-type main-sequence star’, which has around 1.0 to 1.4 times the mass of Sol. Its surface temperature is also between 2 and 3 times that of Sol. Its temperature range gives the star a yellow-light hue.
